Time for an Ink Tip!

Many of our customers report that they "try not to print too much" or "save the ink" for when they need it. Actually the opposite is true! Our motto here is "Use it or Lose It"
Ink cartridges are designed to "clean themselves" every time you print. If the cartridges are left to sit for extended periods of time the ink will "dry" at the print head and clog all those little nozzles. Steady use of a little ink with a print will keep those nozzles clear and fresh.
All you need is a little test page, often built into the printer 'Tools' menu, or a sentence line or two to print about once a week. This will keep the ink fresh at the printhead and printing lovely for longer. Also cartridges that have been used regularly can be refilled longer! Extending your refill from once or twice to many many more. One of our regular customers has been using the same black ink cartridge for 12 refills so far and counting.... :)

Printing Tip!

Yes, you can make some small changes to improve your longevitiy on the toner/laser printing too. 
Many printers come pre-loaded with an "Eco-Save" feature to maximize your prints per cartridge. Sometimes called, Econo-save, Toner Save, Draft etc. it's well worth a look thru the manual or a quick search online to see how to activate this feature.
We use this feature with our everyday prints, on most machines you can barely notice a difference in tone of print, but you will notice a difference in how many extra pages you can get out of a cartridge!

Printer Tip!!!

If you have to have several printers for your busy office, try to get the same model. 
That way you can use an extra cartridge on many machines!
